Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal got married to Bengali model Meher Jessia in 1998. This family has two daughters named Mahika Rampal and Mayra Rampal. Meher-Arjun officially divorced in 2018.
After breaking up with Meher, Arjun Rampal did not marry again. But is in a live-in relationship with South African model-actress Gabriela Demetriades. The couple has two sons. A few days ago Arjun Rampal appeared as a guest on ‘The Ranveer Show’ and talked about divorce.
Arjun feels that he got married at a very young age. Explaining the matter, the actor said, ‘I got married at the age of 24. I think I got married too young. You are also young, have a lot to learn and experience. You also have to become mature. Boys mature more slowly than girls. It is a proven fact that we are fools. If you want a successful married life, wait.’
“If I see a man happy after marrying his childhood sweetheart, I consider it a ‘miracle’,” says the ‘Om Shanti Om’ fame actor.
When Arjun divorced Meher Jessia, they were parents to two daughters. Arjun Rampal, recalling that time, said, ‘It was a very difficult time. It’s not easy for anyone. It is more difficult for children. I feel free after separation. But gradually feel uncomfortable and alone. You will miss your house.’
Arjuna was also responsible for breaking the first family. Admitting it, the actor said, ‘I was young and came from a broken family. Not successful in married life. Which made me look back, try to see what I did wrong. But I didn’t get anything. Later I realized why the mistake was made, what the mistakes were and I took responsibility for it.’
Arjun believes that God has given him a second chance to love. Gabriela has been with Demetriades since 2018. But they are not committed through marriage.
In this regard, Arjun Rampal said, ‘For me and her (Gabriela Demetriades), marriage is just peace on paper. We are married, no doubt about it. But sometimes a piece of paper can change you. You are legally bound. But it cannot change each other’s attitude. We are mentally married.’
Arjun Rampal met South African model-actress Gabriela Demetriades in 2018 through a friend. Later it turns into friendship and love. Gabriela became the mother of Arjun Rampal’s child in 2019. The first child has been named Arik Rampal. After 4 years, a second son came into their lives.
