jpnn.comJAKARTA – David Ozora’s attorney, Mellisa Anggraini, said that Mario Dandy apparently still has a remaining restitution debt of IDR 24 billion for life related to the assault case.

“When he still has assets, then we can sue him because he still has debts of around Rp. 24 billion,” said Mellisa at the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, Thursday (1/8).

Mellisa said that the decision had no deadline or in other words was for life, so it required commitment from the relevant institutions.

Meanwhile, his party received information that the Prosecutor’s Office had written to Mario Dandy regarding the ability to fulfill restitution of IDR 25 billion.

Even though Mario is said to have no assets or income, Mellisa believes that the legal process must continue.

Moreover, the Supreme Court (MA) has ordered the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to return the assets of Mario Dandy’s father, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, which were confiscated as evidence related to the money laundering (TPPU) case.

“Moreover, many of his assets have been returned and the law states that third parties can involve themselves in fulfilling their responsibilities for their children,” he said.

He hopes that this can fulfill rights and obligations for the sake of legal certainty.

Therefore, his party encouraged the DPR to improve the Law and file a lawsuit against law enforcement officers to help fulfill the victims’ rights.

“So that the restitution of Rp. 25 billion does not just remain on paper but cannot be applied,” he said.

Mario Dandy apparently still has a debt of IDR 24 billion as restitution for the assault case.
