The Animal Surveillance Brigade (BVA) of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) rescued a raccoon which was in the courtyard of a house in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.
Behind the call of a woman who reported that a raccoon was in her garden, BVA personnel went to the home located in the The Prado colony in Iztapalapa.

The elements entered the property of the street Sur 71 y Iztapalapa Hermitage Causeway where they found the specimen and after taking containment, protection, preservation and care measures, they managed to introduce it into a carrier without any damage.
The raccoon was transferred to the Animal Brigade facilities in the Xochimilco mayor’s office to carry out a veterinary examination, the result of which was that the animal was clinically healthy.

After the review, the raccoon was handed over to the corresponding authorities for its guard And later relocation.
