The Azerbaijani women’s 3×3 basketball team played two matches today at the Olympics in Paris.
As reported by İdman.biz, the team consisting of Alexandra Mollenhauer, Dina Ulyanova, Tiffany Hayes and Mercedes Walker began another game day with a match against Australia. The start of the match did not go well for our basketball players, while their opponents started making shots and began to pull away. The rebounding game also did not go well and as a result, the Azerbaijani team lost with a score of 12:21.
And in the evening part of the program our team met with China. The beginning of the meeting was not the best, but the Azerbaijani basketball players equalized the score at the end, and then took the lead and won with the final whistle – 21:19.
It should be noted that our team previously beat the USA and lost to Spain, France and Germany.
