After the murder of Julio Cesar Almanzaleader of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce (Fecanaco) in Tamaulipas, the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur) condemned the events and demanded clarification of the crime.
“On behalf of all our members, we reject the violence and fear that threaten our lives and our development. We are committed to peace and progress, and We will not allow these acts to divert us from our goal. to build a safer and more prosperous society,” the Confederation posted in a message on its social networks.

Let us remember that The murder of Julio César Almanza took place on the afternoon of last Tuesday, July 30when he left the Canaco offices, located on Calle 14 and España avenues, in the Buena Vista neighborhood, in the municipality of Matamoros, in the state of Tamaulipas.
In addition to this, Octavio de la Torre, president of the Confederationalso regretted the murder of his partner, assuring that he maintains constant communication with the Government of Tamaulipas to follow up on the case, as well as demanding that those responsible be punished as soon as possible.

“Safety is essential for the well-being of our families and for the development of our merchants, our companies and our family businesses. We cannot allow fear and violence to continue affecting our lives,” said Octavio de la Torre.
Concanaco Servytur joined other chambers of commerce in our country to to call for the arrest of those responsible of the murder of Julio César Almanza, as well as to end the extortions that hundreds of businessmen experience every day in various regions of the country.
