David Yong, known as Singapore’s billionaire, has confessed to being hurt by acquaintances over money.

On the Channel A entertainment program ‘Oh Eun-young’s Gold Counseling Center’ aired on the 1st, David Yong appeared as a guest and confessed that he has no true friends.

He began by saying, “Someone I thought was a friend hit me in the back of the head,” and “I invested to maintain good relationships with my friends, but in the end, I lost 1.5 billion.”

He continued, “There was a problem with the investment, so I tried to check it out, but my acquaintance got angry and started swearing at me.” He said, “I was upset and felt disappointed in people because I didn’t know why they were angry at me.”

David Yong also said, “I was invited to the hotel owner’s son’s birthday party. I arrived late and only stayed for 30 minutes, but they gave me a receipt for the party. It was about 10 million won, and I paid it.”

He said, “I got a call the next day saying that he wanted to check if I was really rich. I felt so bad,” and confessed, “I was invited to the first party we met, and the birthday party was the second.”

When Dr. Oh Eun-young, a psychiatrist, heard this, she asked, “How do you know that David Yong is rich?” David Yong said, “When I first came to Korea, I was open-minded. I went to various gatherings to make friends, and at that time, I introduced myself as the CEO of an investment company.”

Dr. Oh said, “When people meet, they meet with their own commonalities and goals,” and advised, “When David Yong meets people, if he meets them without a goal, it can be confusing. In order to meet as a human being, you need to take off the title of investment company CEO.”

David Yong said, “I used to trust my friends completely, but now when I first meet them, I only trust them about 30%.” He added, “I used to be open-minded and warm-hearted. Now, I feel frustrated, uncomfortable, and lonelier. I have to keep being suspicious, and it’s tiring.”
