Bangalore: The second edition of the Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club (BMSC) Cricket Tournament, which has been running among Malayalees in Bangalore for the past two years, will be held on the 27th of this month at the Iqra Games Village Ground at Kudlu Gate in Bengaluru. Matches are from 7 p.m.

The first prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 15000 / – and the second prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 7000 / -. There will also be cash prizes and trophies in the categories of Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicket Keeper, Man of the Match and Man of the Series.

The Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club was inaugurated in March 2019 by Shri Ramalinga Reddy, MLA of Bengaluru and former Home Minister of Karnataka. The club had earlier organized cricket matches, football matches and badminton tournaments with a number of teams comprising only Bengaluru Malayalees.

When the Kovid epidemic spread throughout the society, it also affected the sports sector in a positive way. So BMSC has organized many games online. After 20 long months, Bangalore is once again hosting another sporting extravaganza involving only Malayalees.
