On August 1, a meeting dedicated to the victory of Azerbaijani athletes was organized at the Olympic House, which operates in Paris as part of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games.
As reported by İdman.biz, the event was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Secretary General Azer Aliyev, Representative Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to France Leyla Abdullayeva, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev, Olympic and world champions, athletes representing our country at the Olympic Games, coaches, media representatives, representatives of various countries and others.
At the event, the champions of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, our judokas Hidayat Geydarov and Zelim Kotsoev, were greeted with great joy and applause and congratulated on their victory.
In the artistic part of the event, the young singer Merdan Band performed diverse and interesting Azerbaijani music.
