She noted that 80 athletes are competing in this type of program at the Summer Games. “I felt good in the morning, I was preparing for the fight. I am happy with the result (26.76), this is my best time of the season. Yes, you can show a better result in open water, but the difference between the competitions in the air and in the complex is quite significant,” Sheikhalizadgah emphasized.
Maryam also competed at the Summer Games in Tokyo, so she can compare the atmosphere of the competition: “I think it was better in Tokyo. Here you have to travel an hour from the Olympic village to the training hall, and the food in Japan was also better. The main thing is that I showed a good result in Paris.”
