jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team started the 2024 SEA V League less well after losing to Thailand.
Competing at Vinh Phuc Gymnasium, Vinh Phuc, Friday (2/8/2024), Chamnan Dokmai’s squad lost with a score of 0-3 (14-25, 20-25, 11-25).
In that match, Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi became the top scorer with 12 points.
From the Thai camp, Pimpichaya Kokram performed brilliantly by collecting 13 points. Another brilliant Thai player, Chatchu-on Moksri, added with 12 points.
Thailand team captain Thatdao Nuekjang closed with 11 points.
With this defeat, Wilda Siti Nurfadhilah Sugandi and her colleagues had to bounce back in the second match when they met Vietnam.
Uncle Ho’s country’s team cannot be underestimated after bringing in several core players such as Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen.
