jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The Prosperous Justice Party officially nominated Bobby Nasution as a candidate for governor in the 2024 North Sumatra Pilkada.
Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) spokesperson Ahmad Mabruri confirmed the information when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Friday (2/8) evening.
PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu gave the recommendation letter directly to President Joko Widodo’s son-in-law.
“The event was at around 17.00 WIB at the PKS Central Leadership Council Office,” said Mabruri when confirming the news.
The recommendation letter giving activity was carried out behind closed doors by PKS at its head office in South Jakarta. During the activity, Bobby Nasution was received by a number of PKS DPP administrators, including Ahmad Syaikhu.
Meanwhile, Bobby Nasution has announced the recommendation on his official Instagram account.
He expressed his gratitude for the recommendation letter and added that support for him was increasing.
“I will fight for this responsibility and mandate given to me as best I can, in order to advance the Province of North Sumatra and improve the welfare of its people,” said Bobby in a photo caption on his Instagram account.
