Awami League has organized gatherings in all wards of Dhaka and in all districts and cities of the country. Besides, the party will take out a mourning procession from Engineers Institution to Bangabandhu Bhavan on Monday (August 5).

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced this program at an emergency press conference at the political office of the Awami League President in Dhanmondi on Saturday (August 3).

Obaidul Quader said, on the one hand, the weather is bad and on the other hand, we don’t want to get involved in any confrontational situation. We avoid such programs that may cause conflict.
