Lacci: plot, cast, and streaming of the film on Rai 3
This evening, August 2, 2024, at 21:20 on Rai 3, Lacci, a 2020 film directed by Daniele Luchetti, will be aired. Plot
Naples, early 1980s. Aldo and Vanda are married and have two children, Anna and Sandro. One evening, the life of this seemingly tranquil family is disrupted by Aldo’s confession to his wife: the man has been with another woman, although he does not yet know what feelings he truly has for her. Vanda is devastated by the news and kicks Aldo out, inadvertently pushing him into the arms of his lover, Lidia. The two, who are also colleagues, move in together in Rome. Shortly after, Vanda visits her husband at the radio station to remind him of the commitment he made with marriage and to invite him to return home, but Aldo hints that he has fallen in love with Lidia. Later, during a visit from Aldo to see the children, Vanda accuses her husband of neglecting the family and causing distress for the children, and therefore urges him once again to come back home. Aldo, however, refuses, and at this point, the situation escalates: Vanda physically assaults the man and his lover in front of the frightened children; Aldo allows Anna and Sandro to be exclusively entrusted to their mother, without fighting for custody and thus, effectively, abandoning them; Vanda attempts suicide by jumping out of the window. Despite the severe injuries sustained, the woman slowly recovers, while Aldo persists in his decision not to return home.
