Bhilwara : Bhilwara police of Rajasthan has recovered 124 lost and stolen mobile phones and returned them to their original owners. These mobiles are worth more than 25 lakh rupees. Police has recovered these mobiles under Operation ‘Antivirus’ campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to stop cyber crime and also to make people aware. Bhilwara SP Rajendra Dushyant said that ‘Operation Antivirus’ campaign is going on since July 10 on the instructions of the police headquarters. The purpose of this campaign is to find stolen and lost mobiles, stop cyber fraud and catch the criminals.
Also recovered from Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand
Under this campaign, the police checked the CDR and IMEI of more than 500 mobile numbers. After this, the police recovered 124 mobiles from many states like Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand. The maximum number of 30 mobiles were found from Pratap Nagar police station area.

5 accused arrested, 58 suspects interrogated
Police said that two cases of cyber fraud have been registered and action has been taken against five accused. Also, 58 suspects have been questioned. Police has appealed to people to take care of the security of their mobile phones and immediately inform the police in case of any kind of fraud.
Bhilwara police had formed a special team to recover lost and stolen mobiles. This team was led by Additional SP Vimal Singh. Police said that such campaigns will continue in future as well. The aim of the police is to ensure that cyber crime does not happen to people and their valuables remain safe.
