The 73rd Strongja Memorial International Boxing Tournament is taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In the women’s 52kg semi-finals, India’s Nihat Zareen defeated Turkey’s Nass Kogiaklu 4-1 to advance to the final. In the other semi-final, India’s Nithu (48kg division) knocked out Ukraine’s Hanna Okota.

By advancing to the final, it is certain that both the Indian athletes will get at least a silver medal.
