Actress Lena Meckel announced in April that she is expecting a baby. Now, just before the birth, she has said “I do” to her partner, director David Helmut.
Good news keeps coming for Lena Meckel. In January, the actress revealed that she was engaged. In an Instagram post, she shared a picture of herself with her partner David Helmut, happily holding her engagement ring up to the camera. She simply wrote: “YES!”
Then in April came the next good news: “By the way, something else is hatching at our home…. A very personal and special moment that we wanted to share with you,” she wrote on Instagram. She shared a clip in which she looks at her positive pregnancy test.
And what step was still missing in the series? Right, the wedding. As “bild.de” reported, the 31-year-old and her 37-year-old partner exchanged vows in a small circle of friends and family at Schloss Haag in Bavaria’s Mühldorf am Inn. “It was beautiful to experience this day as a small family, almost as a trio,” Meckel told the portal.
Lena Meckel has been in front of the camera since childhood
Meckel began her acting career at a young age. At 13, she acted in “Die wilden Kerle 3”. Her first lead role followed a few years later in the ZDF series “Unter anderen Umständen”. The native of Munich is well-known from series and TV shows such as “Rote Rosen”, “Das Traumschiff”, “In aller Freundschaft”, and “Der Alte”.
Together with her husband, she forms a good team not only privately, but they also work together. From 2022 to 2023, Meckel starred in two seasons of the RTL+ mockumentary “Wrong – Uncensored”, which was created by David Helmut. He also directed and played a role in it. Helmut has found success as a director with various commercials for companies, and “Wrong” marked the launch of his first series. (vit)
