(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 5 – With crude oil at an eight-month low and a new slump in the prices of refined products – attributed by market operators to low demand and increased inventories – fuel prices at the pump are slipping again, after the price drops recorded on Friday. Gasoline is at its lowest level since February 9 (national average of self-service pump prices). According to the usual Staffetta Quotidiana survey, on Saturday Eni reduced the recommended prices of gasoline and diesel by one cent per liter. These are the average prices charged communicated by the operators to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and processed by Staffetta, recorded at 8 yesterday morning on approximately 18 thousand facilities: self-service petrol at 1.841 euro/litre (-3 thousandths, companies 1.845, white pumps 1.833), self-service diesel at 1.721 euro/litre (-4, companies 1.726, white pumps 1.711).
