The Ministry of Education in the Government of National Unity revealed the graduation project of the students of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology “Raqdalin”, where they impressed everyone with the idea and design of their graduation project on (designing a tracking radar using ultrasonic waves).
According to Ministry“The project works to send signals, take pictures, and receive signals reflected from the targets to be tracked. By analyzing the reflected signals, the location of the targets that have been monitored can be determined.”
“Such projects represent an exciting challenge and an opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge in the field of electronic, communications and electrical engineering in a practical way,” said Dr. Tariq Al-Naili, Director General of the Institute.
Al-Naili added: “Such rare and specialized projects encourage students to set ambitious goals to design advanced and effective projects, with a focus on innovation and creativity.”
According to the ministry, “This project participated in the World Youth Skills Day 2024, which was supervised by the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education and organized by the Tajoura Higher Institute of Science and Technology. The project received an advanced ranking and was praised for its technical quality and creative work by all attendees.”
This project was directly sponsored by Dr. Tariq Al-Hadi Al-Naili, Director of the Institute, and supervised by Professor Samah Abdel Salam Dhuwaihir, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, in front of the preparation and design of the students (Lina Abu Bakr Tarum, Muhammad Rajab Al-Tar, Abdul Nasser Ali Hussein, Muhammad Sassi Al-Mariami).
