/ The Israeli army published a video clip today, Tuesday, which it said was of the leader of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, with his wife and children inside a tunnel.
The video showed a person walking inside the tunnel, and his face appeared when he turned back, then a woman, a child, and two boys followed him, then a person followed them and appeared from behind as if he was Sinwar, while the army put a sign around him saying that he was Yahya Sinwar.
Israeli media said the video was filmed on October 10.

Earlier on Tuesday, an Israeli channel reported that “the Israeli army obtained a video from a tunnel in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, showing the head of the political bureau of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, accompanied by his wife.”
Channel 13 reported that “the Israeli army was able to obtain a videotape of Yahya Sinwar, accompanied by his wife and children inside a tunnel in Khan Yunis,” explaining that the tape shows Yahya Sinwar moving with his family from one tunnel to another, accompanied by another person who is well acquainted with the tunnel, suggesting that he is one of the security men affiliated with the Hamas movement.
The channel pointed out that the video is being verified by both the Israeli army and the Shin Bet (Israeli internal security service) as well.
The city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, was subjected to the most violent bombing and military operations since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Strip following the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7, as Israeli warplanes, naval vessels and artillery launched intensive and simultaneous raids on homes and mosques in the city of Rafah, leaving dozens dead, hundreds wounded and massive destruction, especially in the Yebna camp in the center of the city.
The Israeli army has been continuing military operations against the Gaza Strip since October 7, when the Palestinian Hamas movement, which controls the Strip, announced the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” in which thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel and its forces stormed Israeli settlements adjacent to the Strip, resulting in the deaths of about 1,200 Israelis and the capture of about 250 others.
The battles included a 7-day truce that was reached through Egyptian, Qatari and American mediation, during which women and children prisoners were exchanged and agreed-upon quantities of aid were brought into the Gaza Strip, before military operations were renewed on December 1.
Israel responded by officially declaring war on the Gaza Strip, starting with devastating bombing, then ground military operations inside the Strip, resulting in more than 28,000 deaths and more than 68,000 injuries among the Strip’s residents.
The Hamas leader left the scene after realizing that his whereabouts had been exposed and that Israeli army forces were pursuing him.
Earlier, Israeli media outlets reported the video, saying that the video reached the Israeli army when its forces inspected the strategic tunnel and found a security camera in it – where Sinwar was recorded walking with his wife and children, without them appearing to be injured.
