Jakarta: Teachers often punish students for violating school or college rules. By this, most teachers mean to discourage children from doing wrong things in the future. Nowadays, teachers often punish children for using smartphones in class. Many teachers punish this by buying phones from their children for a few hours or a few days or by informing their parents.
But a video of a group of teachers punishing children for using their phones is now circulating on social media. Indonesian teachers are seen throwing a group of students’ smartphones into the fire. The footage shows students pleading not to destroy the phone and throwing it away in spite of that. The video has been circulating on Instagram and other social media. Many people have commented against this action of the teachers.
