The election meeting of Chairman Kashmir Committee started under the chairmanship of Special Secretary Legislation Muhammad Mushtaq, in the meeting, Chief Whip of Muslim League-N Dr Fazal Chaudhary and Chief Whip of Sunni Ittehad Council Malik Amir Dogar, Members of National Assembly Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Babar, Sadiq Iftikhar, Fatehullah Khan, Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, Asad Alam Niazi, Muhammad Raza Haraj, Sharmila Farooqui, Wajiha Qamar, Sardar Muhammad Yusuf, Shehryar Afridi, Aurangzeb Khan Katchi, Rana Mubasher Iqbal, Muhammad Usman Khan Badini, Khurram Shahzad Work, Muhammad Azhar Khan Leghari and Javed Ali Shah Jilani participated.
In the meeting, the name of Rana Qasim Noon was proposed for the chairman, the government member Rana Qasim Noon was elected as the Chairman of the Kashmir Committee unopposed, the Chairman of the Kashmir Committee Rana Qasim Noon also took over the chair, the proposer for the chairman of the committee, Aurangzeb Khan Kachi, was approved.
