Appeal Submission: 07/8/2024 – 09/8/2024

Final Results Lists: 14/8/2024

According to the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision (FEK/B΄/art.4056/10-07-2024), the budget this year is increased and amounts to €361.2 million. The program targets more than 173,500 eligible parents of all structures, such as infant care centers (ages 2 months to 4 years), Creative Employment Centers, and for children with disabilities.

Specifically, the voucher for infants, toddler, and child care centers of comprehensive care is increased by €1.5 million to reach €51.5 million, allowing approximately an additional 1,100 infants and children to receive vouchers for the centers and 750 children for the typical development KDP structures. For individuals with disabilities aged over 22, the coverage of all applications is maintained, and an additional €1.7 million is estimated to be allocated to KDP vouchers.

The Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zacharaki, stated: “Our concern this year is that no child – with a complete application – is left without a place in a nursery. That is why our Ministry is spending over €360 million to cover 173,000 vouchers for nurseries, typical development KDPs, and KDPs for individuals with disabilities. We have also solved the issue with the vouchers for individuals with disabilities over 22 years old and their participation in KDPs for individuals with disabilities. We have provided increased scoring for large families, three-child families, and single-parent families. Behind every child who finds a place in nursery, in KDPs and in KDPs for individuals with disabilities, there is a family for whom we are solving a substantial care and education problem. This also helps and supports working parents, as well as unemployed parents, to pursue their return to work with less anxiety about leaving their children. Supporting families is our mission as the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family. From today until August 1st, I invite parents to log in and submit their applications on time.”
