The High National Elections Commission, in cooperation with the Higher Judicial Institute and the Judicial Bodies Inspection Department, organized the third phase of the training program targeting judges of temporary matters in the district courts.
The workshop was opened in the presence of Abu Bakr Marda, member of the Commission’s Board and Director General of the Higher Judicial Institute, Dr. Diaa El-Din Al-Mukhtar Khamaj, Alaa Al-Shaibani, Director of the Legal Office at the Commission, Al-Siddiq Abu Shahiwa, Director of the Rehabilitation and Training Department at the Institute, and Imad Youssef, General Coordinator of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, in addition to a number of targeted judges.
The workshop will last for three days and aims to enhance the participants’ capabilities in the field of electoral appeals and aspects related to elections, in response to the requirements of the electoral process for electing municipal councils.
