## Ruggero Tita Celebrates Gold, Eyes Set on America’s Cup

Ruggero Tita has little time to celebrate his gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 with Caterina Banti in the Nacra 17. His sights are already set on the America’s Cup with Luna Rossa.
“Now everything is focused on the America’s Cup: this is the next objective,” Tita said, already gold in Tokyo 2020 alongside Banti in the Nacra 17. “We have won two Olympic golds, now we Italians need to win the Cup: I am sure that with Luna Rossa we can do it.”
The helmsman then returned to the gold at the Games, adding, “when Caterina and I decided to start again, we knew that the most difficult thing would be to win another gold. And among the many critical issues there was also that of having less time available to prepare, compared to Tokyo: my involvement with Luna Rossa weighed heavily. But we did it and now we are very happy.”
