Cassa Forense Grant for Video Conference Room
Through Announcement no. 15/2024, Cassa Forense aims to award grants to equip a video conference room in law firms. The deadline for applications is September 30.
1. Create a Video Conference Room
Cassa Forense has announced a call for the current year to allocate contributions, up to € 500,000.00, to promote the economic development of the Legal Profession through the creation of a video conference room in the law firm.
2. Recipients
The call is open to:
Lawyers and Trainee Lawyers registered with the Fund or in the process of registering, not suspended.
Individuals receiving a disability pension from the Fund.
Note: Recipients cannot benefit from multiple benefits of the same type provided through calls for tenders in the same year.
3. Amount
The contribution is equal to 50% of the total expenditure, net of VAT, incurred from July 16 to September 30, 2024, for the creation of a video conference room equipped with:
1 personal computer (desktop or laptop)
1 monitor/TV (50 inches or larger) or projector
1 webcam
1 ambient microphone
Optional: HDMI/USB cables, background panels, lighting, monitor wall-mounting support.
Contributions between €300.00 and €1,500.00 are not eligible. Expenses not related to the listed instruments, installation, or other furnishings are not reimbursable.
4. Requirements to Participate
Compliance with Form 5 enrollment requirements.
Up-to-date payment of social security contributions.
No other 2024 call benefits.
Absence of prior similar benefits from the State or other entities.
5. Application Process and Terms
Applications must be submitted from July 16 to September 30, 2024, through the Cassa website. Applicants must submit:
Invoices for the listed equipment.
Self-certification of equipment use for the video conference room.
* Photograph of the created video conference room (excluding personal information).
6. Payment of Contribution
Contributions will be awarded in order of net professional income for 2023, until the total amount is exhausted. In case of a tie, younger age and then seniority are used as criteria.
