Student Steals Mother’s Jewelry to Buy Girlfriend an iPhone
(Web Desk) Is this called friendship? Students of the ninth class stole their mother’s jewelry by crossing all limits to get an iPhone for their girlfriend.
According to Indian media, a ninth class student in the Najafgarh area of South West Delhi stole his mother’s jewelry to give his friend an iPhone, who was arrested by the police.
The boy took this step to give a gift to his girlfriend on her birthday. Police say the matter came to light when the boy’s mother filed an FIR of jewelry theft at home.
Police say that on August 3, a complaint was filed by the woman in the house, in which she said that on August 2, between 8 am and 3 pm, an unknown person stole two gold chains, earrings, and a ring from the house. He escaped.
The police investigation involved reviewing CCTV footage, but no suspicious activity was detected near the complainant’s house. The team then focused on gathering information about the boy himself. They discovered that he was missing from home and questioned his school friends.
The friends revealed that the boy had a close friendship with a girl in his class and that they were both interested in each other.
The police learned that the boy had purchased a new iPhone worth Rs 50,000. Despite extensive searches in Dharmapura, Kakarola, and Najafgarh, the boy repeatedly evaded capture. police set a trap near his home and arrested him when he arrived.
The boy confessed that he was angry with his mother for refusing to give him money for his girlfriend’s birthday gift. He decided to steal the jewelry instead.
