During his reception of the Pakistani Ambassador, Anjum Enayat, the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity, Nasreddin Al-Fazzani, discussed ways to enhance communication and cooperation mechanisms between Libya and Pakistan in the field of tourism investment.
Al-Fazzani stressed the “importance of providing opportunities for investors and businessmen in the two countries to benefit from promising investment opportunities in the field of tourism and traditional industries, and to organize joint programs and benefit from Pakistan’s pioneering experience, especially in the field of traditional industries and handicrafts.”
For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador praised the role of the Libyan Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries in enhancing cooperation between the two countries, considering tourism a tool for communication and cultural rapprochement, and carries a message of hope and peace between peoples and societies, expressing his welcome to initiatives aimed at supporting tourism between the two countries.

Minister of Tourism discusses difficulties facing companies operating in the field of Hajj and Umrah
On the other hand, the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries received the Director General of the Western Region Chamber of Tourism, along with a number of directors of tourism companies working in the field of Hajj and Umrah.
The meeting discussed “the difficulties facing these companies in fulfilling their financial obligations towards Saudi companies that provide services to Libyan pilgrims, and the resulting legal repercussions.”
During the meeting, “ways to implement the necessary financial transfers for these companies through official channels, such as banks or by opening specific credits, were discussed, which facilitates companies’ fulfillment of their financial obligations and enhances their ability to provide their services effectively.”
It was agreed with the Minister “to follow up on the ruling issued against the General Manager of Mawakeb Tourism Services Company, Amhamed Dakhil Al-Sanousi, with the Saudi authorities. His Excellency expressed his readiness to address the official state authorities in this regard. We hope for success and acquittal for “Mohamed Al-Sanousi.”
