There is great sadness in Tradate and the music community following the passing of renowned music enthusiast and expert, Roman Patrician, who died at the age of 62 after a serious illness.
Patrizio Romano, a man of great sensitivity and musical knowledge, made his professional debut in 1990 at EMI Music Italy before moving to MCA Music Publishing in 1995. He later worked for Verve Music Group and Ponderosa Music & Arts, eventually becoming the Head of Catalogue and Strategic Marketing at Warner Music Italy in 2015.
News of his passing quickly spread, and many friends remember him today and gather around his daughter, Anna.
“In the world of music, it is impossible to quantify how many people knew and appreciated him, or the countless friends and acquaintances who always admired his sweetness, humanity, and culture,” said his lifelong friend, Roberto De Benedetto. “He was a man of profound culture, humble and discreet.”…
Patrizio, who tragically lost his beloved wife to a devastating disease, continued to spread love and simplicity through music despite his own struggles. His friend reminds us of a song by his favorite author, Nick Drake, whose words “and now we get up, now we are everywhere” resonate with Patrizio’s spirit.
Friends and acquaintances can pay their respects to Patrizio Romano until the evening of Friday, August 9th at the Farewell Home of the Canavesi Funeral Services in via Santo Stefano 61 in Tradate.
