Author Karishma Upadhyay has penned a book titled “Parveen Bobby: A Life,” which serves as the primary source for the biopic. The movie is expected to be based on this book.

Parveen Bobby made history as the first Bollywood actress to grace the cover of Time magazine in 1976. Her personal life was marked by rumored relationships with actors Danny, Kabir Bedi, and Amitabh Bachchan, and a tumultuous love story with director Mahesh Bhatt.
Tragically, Parveen Bobby struggled with mental illness and diabetes. Her body was discovered frozen three days after her death on January 20, 2005.
