Homage to the city: Ahead of the Carmel derby tonight (Saturday, 20:00) at the Sami Ofer Stadium, Maccabi Haifa has launched a special shirt with which it will go up for a meeting against Hapoel Haifa.
Barak Bachar’s players will play with a shirt specially designed for the game, with the symbols of the city of Haifa stamped on it, such as the Baha’i Temple, the missile building, the cable car, Sami Ofer and more. In the first round, it will end with a celebration of Maccabi Haifa, which defeated the city rival 1: 5. Barak Bachar’s team leads the table with a four-point difference over Hapoel Beer Sheva, while Elisha Levy’s players must win to keep a chance in the playoffs.
