The lifeless discovery of two young people in San Miguel Topilejo on July 30th has been linked to a trafficking network operating out of the human trafficking“>Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office. Unofficial reports suggest the victims are part of a human trafficking operation run by a criminal group called “The Aragua Train”.
However, these claims have not been confirmed by authorities.

According to the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) capital, the two women found in San Miguel Topilejo are of Venezuelan origin. Their relatives have been contacted for identification purposes.
Following the investigation, prosecutors conducted two searches in homes in the municipalities of Azcapotzalco and Cuauhtémoc. Evidence related to the victims, such as clothing and personal items, was discovered in a property in the Buenavista colony of Cuauhtémoc.

The location where the evidence was found has been secured as part of the ongoing investigation.
