Driving News: Toyota C-HR Looks Like a Wedge
The design of some cars is simply beyond explanation, offering designers a chance to truly let their imaginations run wild. And while some might say the new Toyota C-HR looks like a wedge with edges, let’s give it a try anyway.
The rear of the C-HR is where the wedge-like profile becomes most evident. A sharp crease runs along the back, above the small, flat rear window. A two-sided spoiler then directs the air in the right direction above this.
The side view is further broken up by the belt line, which is split into a Y at the front. The roof line is slightly lowered, adding to the overall aggressive stance. The bonnet above the big radiator grille ends in a sharp fold, forming thick bulges above the hook-shaped headlights. This aggressive assembly gives the C-HR a distinctive and eye-catching look.
