NASA said that US sanctions will not affect cooperation with Russia on the ISS

A NASA spokesman said that the US space agency will continue to cooperate with Russia on the activities of the ISS and does not assume that sanctions can affect their cooperation.

Recall that earlier the Director General of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that if the sanctions affect the cooperation between NASA and Russia, then the ISS will face an uncontrolled deorbit.

“We are working with all international partners, including Roskosmos, and are making every effort to ensure the safe operation of NASA,” said a spokesman for the space agency.

He specified that the sanctions that the United States is preparing to impose will not affect Russian-American cooperation in the field of civil space.
