Bayern Youth Team Boasts Unique Configuration with Two Bulgarians
A groundbreaking configuration has emerged within the ranks of German giants Bayern Munich. One of the team’s youth squads boasts two Bulgarian players in the under-19 age group for the 2024/2025 season.
Petar Gaidarov, a 33-year-old coach who has previously guided players up to the age of 17, now leads this talented group. Recognized as one of the most promising young coaches in Germany, Gaidarov was lured to Bayern from Nuremberg three years ago.
Joining him in the under-19 team for the second season is striker Valentin Yotov. The 18-year-old arrived in Munich from the USA in 2018 after previously honing his skills in the Philadelphia Union academy.
Despite his talent, Yotov is currently recovering from an injury and missed the first game of the season. His debut for Bayern U19 came in a 5-2 victory over Greuther Furth.
