## National Team Undergoes Recovery Training After Japan Match

The national team underwent a recovery training session this morning, Saturday, at Al-Gharafa Club’s training centers, after playing yesterday’s match against Japan, which ended in the team’s favor (2-1), and ensuring qualification to the round of 16 first from Group Four. The session aimed to prepare the team for their next match on (29-1) at 2:30 PM at Khalifa International Stadium.
The training session was attended by the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, and members Ghaleb Al-Zamili, Mohammed Nasser, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, and Secretary-General Mohammed Farhan. All players participated in the training session, and were divided into two groups according to the minutes they played in yesterday’s match.
National team coach Jesus Casas gave a short lecture before the start of training, congratulating the players on their victory against the strongest candidate for the tournament. He expressed confidence in their ability to give their all.
Casas also warned the players of the need to maintain focus and mental clarity for the upcoming Vietnam match, urging them to leave the Japan match behind and fully immerse themselves in training and tournament preparation.
The coach expressed his satisfaction with the inclusion of several new players in the match against Japan, highlighting the high level of responsibility and commitment displayed by the entire squad.
