Iraqi Olympic Team Plays Friendly Match Against Egypt
The Iraqi Olympic team will face their second friendly match during their training camp today, Saturday, against the Egyptian Olympic team.
The national team coach, Radhi Shenaishil, informed Shafak News Agency that the match will kick off at 7:30 pm today, indicating the team’s readiness for the encounter and its potential to be a valuable experience against a strong opponent like Egypt.
Shenaishil emphasized the open approach to the match, stating that it will provide an opportunity for many players to showcase their abilities on the field. He also highlighted the importance of the current camp in preparing the team for the upcoming Asian competitions and the Paris 2024 qualifying process.
The Iraqi team previously defeated FC Akron, a first division club in the Russian league, 2-0 in a training match held in Dubai as part of their training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
