Despite a sluggish start in the early games of the Paris Olympics, Stephen Curry emerged as the star of the US men’s basketball team’s victory over Serbia on Thursday (8). This win secured their place in the final of the tournament.
Curry outscored his teammates with 36 points, the highest tally of the tournament so far. This impressive performance surpassed the 34 points scored by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bruno Caboclo.

Known as one of the greatest shooters in history, Curry showcased his skills against the Serbians. He sank nine three-pointers out of 14 attempts, only one less than Carmelo Anthony’s record from the previous game.
The US team defeated Serbia 95-91, overcoming a 13-point deficit in the final quarter. Curry was their shining light, scoring 17 points in the first quarter.
