## Udinese Confirms Alexis Sánchez’s Return
Alexis Sánchez is back in Udinese, his first European station. Sixteen years ago, the Chilean prodigy arrived in Udinese. Now, the Italian team is welcoming him back. As reported by The Sportsman, Sánchez is back in Italy to finalize his contract with Udinese. On social networks, the team announced the arrival of the player, who was trained in Cobreloa, with a photo of a lion, which has become his social media emblem.
The striker himself hinted at his return, writing on Instagram, “Attention, the last dance. Everything is possible.” According to The Third, Sánchez’s decision was driven by his deep affection for Udinese, despite other offers he received.
In his previous three seasons at Udinese, Sánchez scored 21 goals and provided 20 assists in 112 games. His most prolific season was 2011, when he scored 12 goals and provided 11 assists, leading to a move to Barcelona.
Udinese’s sporting director, Gianluca Nani, confirmed the negotiations with Sánchez, stating, “Alexis Sánchez could happen again in Udinese. It is something we want and are talking about. We want to hit the market with the return of the Chilean striker.”
In this second spell at Udinese, Sánchez will receive a salary of US$ 1.5 million per season. Additional bonuses are also expected, depending on sporting achievements such as Champions League qualification.
