At the kick-off ceremony of the 18th Grand Tournament of Friendship (GTA), organized by the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute‍ (IAV) from ⁣March 3rd to 5th this month, Minister Sadiki emphasized the importance of training agricultural executives as part ​of broader support for sector policies, including the Green Morocco⁢ Plan and the new Generation Green strategy, which⁣ aims⁣ to train 10,000 graduates⁢ by 2030.

“While technical training ⁢for ⁣engineers and executives⁣ is crucial, it is not enough,” the minister stated. “Assessment also involves⁣ the skills acquired during their studies and a ‍set of values and knowledge that are unique to each individual.”

“Sports‌ play a vital role in‍ developing a range of ​conceptual and behavioral skills that contribute to shaping personality and charisma in students,” ⁢Mr. Sadiki added.

The minister emphasized the significance of‍ the GTA, highlighting its contribution ⁤to‌ improving training and‍ supporting students throughout their academic journeys, while fostering collaboration​ between different educational institutions in the Kingdom.

The director of IAV Hassan II, Abdelaziz El Hraiki, noted that the ‍tournament brings together 36 higher education institutions in the ​Kingdom. He ⁣emphasized that the competition offers opportunities for students to engage in sports and cultural activities, fostering new friendships and building connections.

The event ⁢was marked ​by the⁢ inauguration of IAV Hassan II’s new football field, which meets FIFA standards, allowing‍ players to ‍compete in optimal conditions.

Mr. Sadiki also ⁣witnessed the signing of a charter by the Student Offices (BDE) of all participating schools and universities. This ‍charter aims to leverage university sports to promote the development of⁤ Moroccan youth and celebrate the diversity ⁢of talents in the country, fostering friendship ‌and mutual understanding across⁣ communities.
