Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Kitesurfing World Cup Championship: Four Moroccan Riders Eliminated
Dakhla – Four Moroccan riders participating in the Prince Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Kitesurfing World Cup Championship were eliminated at the end of the qualifications held on Tuesday and Wednesday in Foum Labouir in Dakhla.
Thus, Achraf Bentajar was eliminated by the French Charly Martin with a score of 12.37 to 8.77, while Mounim Maji was beaten by the Cape Verdean Arsenio Dias by 12.30 to 9.30.
Hamza Addi, who reached the final table after the national qualifiers, had to settle for a total of 9.95 against Italian favourite Airton Cozzolino who achieved a total of 17.30.
The other Moroccan Abderrahim Moutaouakil lost to the American Gray Foster by 12.27 to 9.22.
Mohamed Ali Beqqali is still in the running for the quarter-finals. He will face the Frenchman Théo Demanez in the 5th qualifying round.
The city of Dakhla is the fourth and penultimate stage of the GKA Kitesurfing World Cup with a prize money of 25,000 dollars.
