Gold Prices Stabilize in Baghdad and Erbil

Gold prices in the local markets of Baghdad and Erbil remained stable today, Tuesday. In the capital, Baghdad, and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, gold prices were steady across both wholesale markets and goldsmiths’ shops.
Wholesale Market Prices:
The selling price of one mithqal (5 grams) of 21 karat gold was recorded at 431,000 dinars, while the purchase price was 427,000 dinars.
The price of Iraqi gold was slightly lower, with a selling price of 401,000 dinars and a purchase price of 397,000 dinars.
Goldsmiths’ Prices:
The selling price of 21-karat gold in Baghdad ranged from 435,000 to 445,000 dinars, while Iraqi gold was between 405,000 and 415,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the selling price of 24-karat gold was 505,000 dinars, while 21-karat gold fetched 445,000 dinars and 18-karat gold was 385,000 dinars.
Currency Market:
The dollar price also weakened slightly in both Baghdad and Erbil today. The selling price of 100 dollars was 152,000 dinars in Baghdad and 151,700 dinars in Erbil, compared to 152,200 dinars in Baghdad and 151,600 dinars in Erbil yesterday.
