Junaeb reaffirmed its commitment to food security and the well-being of students, ensuring that no child or young person goes without school meals during the national teachers’ strike.
The National Board of School Aid and Scholarships (Junaeb) confirmed that food delivery to educational establishments will be carried out on a regular basis in the context of the teachers’ strike announced for this Wednesday, August 7.
Junaeb stated that its teams at national and regional levels will be monitoring compliance with the School Feeding Program (PAE) and the Preschool Feeding Program (PAP) in those schools that have the necessary staff to deliver rations.
Additionally, the organization has taken all necessary measures to ensure the delivery of food to children, youth and adults. In those establishments where it is not possible to provide conventional food (hot meals), contingency food consisting of cold rations will be distributed.
