Great Participation and Sociality at “Sotto il cielo del Corso”
The “Sotto il cielo del Corso” event, part of Gereon Pilz’s project, saw a remarkable turnout and fostered a strong sense of community. Notable figures like Mayor Fabrizio D’Ancona and renowned figures from the Pantesca community graced the occasion.
The evening kicked off with the arrival of Mayor D’Ancona, who expressed the Municipality’s support for future events. The presence of Professor Thomas Schäfer, his wife Heidi, and their son Felix, who has been crafting exquisite Zibbibo wine in Pantelleria for years, added further delight to the atmosphere.
Nicola Ferrari’s captivating projection on the Corso’s facades transformed the space, lending a unique charm to the event. The majestic backdrop of the castle added to the awe-inspiring ambiance.
Several notable figures graced the event, including Angela Siragusa, former deputy mayor, and the esteemed Morettino family, who recently restored the iconic “Morettino Caffè Palermo.” Their presence and support for the proposed reconstruction of the Busetta theatre were particularly noteworthy.
The participants expressed their appreciation for the free Pantesca beer from Birrificio La Panteska, while some danced to the rhythm of the Penta Tonici Group. Even the farmers from Rekhale made the journey to Pantelleria, enjoying a moment of respite and camaraderie.
