Liverpool FC celebrated a clear victory in a friendly match against Sevilla FC. The Reds won 4:1 in the first game of the new coach Arne Slot at Anfield Road against the Spanish top-flight team.
Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz made clear statements in the first half. Jota scored in the 30th minute, and Diaz shined with a brace before halftime (39th and 45th+1).
The fourth goal was scored by the only 17-year-old Trey Nyoni, who responded quickly with a volley in the 67th minute to Sevilla’s consolation goal (scored by Peque, 66th).
For the young Englishman, it was his first goal in a Liverpool FC jersey for the first team.
