New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced to provide about 40,000 flats under three housing projects for low-income, middle-income and high-income groups. The authority has approved the ‘DDA Affordable Home Housing Scheme 2024’. Under this scheme, flats will be built in Ramgarh Colony, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini and Narela. They will be sold on first come first serve (FCFS) basis. About 34,000 flats will be ready for sale under this scheme. Their starting price will be around Rs 11.5 lakh. DDA says that to meet the affordable housing needs of the low-income group, this scheme provides LIG and EWS flats at concessional rates in Ramgarh Colony, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini and Narela. Housing will be made more accessible through the FCFS mode. A common man is being given a chance to build his own house in Delhi.
