In response to the attack on a school containing terrorists in the Gaza Strip, Saudi Arabia and Qatar expressed their condemnation.
Channel 12 reports this.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning the attack, describing it as a “massacre” that is worsening the humanitarian crisis in the region.
The Saudi side stressed that this crisis is caused by ongoing violations of international and humanitarian law by Israeli forces and urged that such actions cease.
In turn, the Qatari Foreign Ministry also expressed strong condemnation of the attack on the school, calling for an international investigation into the incident.
Qatari authorities insist on the need for international intervention, including the dispatch of UN investigators, to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Let us recall that the IDF struck the positions of terrorists who were using a school in Gaza City as a shelter for civilians.
An IAF aircraft, acting on intelligence from Aman, Shin Bet and the Southern Command, attacked terrorists who were in a military headquarters located in the At-Tabin school complex near a mosque in Darjeh, Tafa. The complex was used to shelter local residents.
The headquarters served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists and a place to coordinate attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. Before the attack, every possible measure was taken to minimize the threat to the civilian population.
The terrorist organization Hamas has repeatedly violated international law by placing its military installations in civilian infrastructure and using civilians as human shields.
