What is salicylic acid beneficial for?

Everyone’s skin type is different. In such a situation, if your skin is oily, you keep getting acne or you have a lot of open skin pores, then using salicylic acid in your routine can be beneficial for you. You just have to apply 2-3 drops on the face and use it once a day. Also, after using it, apply a lot of moisturizer.

Reduces stickiness

It is said that salicylic acid reduces the stickiness of cells and helps in easy removal of oil secreted by sebaceous glands. Therefore, it is very beneficial for people with oily skin.

Eliminates acne

Using salicylic acid helps in reducing facial acne as well as blackheads and whiteheads. Also, you can use salicylic acid cleanser or serum or both according to your need and skin.

When to use it?

There might be many of you who might have started using salicylic acid without any medical advice and might be using it in every season. But let us tell you that it is right to use it at night.

But if you are already using retinol at night, then apply salicylic acid serum in the morning. If you have high sun exposure or your skin tans quickly, then it is better to use salicylic acid at night.
