DC Panjgur Zakir Baloch was killed and 2 persons including the brother of MPA Rahmat Baloch were injured in firing by armed men in Khadkocha area of Mastung.
According to sources, a tragic incident of firing took place in Khadkocha, a suburb of Mastung, Balochistan province. As a result of the firing, Deputy Commissioner Panjgur was killed and 2 people, including MPA Rahmat Baloch’s brother Chairman Malik Jan, were injured.
Sources further say that the injured have been transferred to Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital, strict security arrangements have been made in the hospital as well. DC Zakir Baloch could not attend due to absence.
Commissioner Kalat Division Naeem Bazai says that Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Zakir Baloch’s car was fired at Khadkocha Kund Imrani.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the incident of firing on Deputy Commissioner Panjgur’s vehicle in Mastung area. Expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the family members of DC and also prayed for the speedy recovery of the two people who were injured in the firing, Abdul Malik and Ahmed Jan.

In his message, he said that he was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Zakir Baloch.
