In accordance with the High Royal Directives relating to the discipline of football advocating efficient and transparent governance, and investment in infrastructure as well as in human capital, this partnership aims to jointly contribute to the national effort for the development of football and to promote excellence in the field.

It is based on the pooling of skills and resources of the three partners to work to strengthen and improve the skills of training centers across the Kingdom, by providing them with modern infrastructure, efficient management of facilities and advanced technical expertise.

Speaking on this occasion, the CEO of the OCP group, Mostafa Terrab, welcomed the successes of the FRMF in recent years and the pride they have brought to Moroccans, also expressing the pride of the OCP group in the creation of this fund alongside the Federation, and the prospects it offers.

“It is precisely when successes are achieved that the Federation thinks about the future,” he continued.

For his part, the president of the FRMF Fouzi Lekjaa noted, in a statement to MAP, that the signing of this agreement, which takes place in accordance with the enlightened vision of HM King Mohammed VI for the promotion of national sport, constitutes an important step in the process of development and upgrading of national football.

This agreement aims to offer all young boys and girls of different age categories and throughout the territory of the Kingdom, the opportunity to practice football and train in favorable and professional conditions, he explained, adding that this “dose of professionalism at the level of training, as well as the correction of the segment from under 12 to 20 years old, will allow young Moroccans to express their talents, and national football to live up to the expectations of Moroccans, which are to compete with the big teams on an international scale.”

This national training fund is based on a business model based on the training of high-level players and their integration into professional clubs, thus enabling the sustainability of the project.

The project, which will be managed by a specialized SA, under the technical supervision of the National Technical Directorate of the FRMF, aims to create a new model of training and operational excellence in the development of the football sector, by offering young players high-level integrated supervision, thus promoting their development in a professional environment.

The training centers will also contribute to strengthening social inclusion, cohesion and the well-being of young people, while promoting the development and valorization of youth and sport in Morocco.
