As you may recall, Trump was interviewed last week for a conservative radio show, referring to the invasion of Ukraine and claiming that “if I had been in the White House, it would not have happened.”
“I watched TV yesterday and I said to myself, ‘This is genius,'” Trump said. “Putin says a large part of Ukraine is independent. Oh, that’s wonderful. He’s a very smart guy.”
Trump said this during an interview on a radio program: “So Putin is now saying ‘they are independent’, about a large part of Ukraine. I said to myself: ‘how smart it is’, he is going to come in as a force that keeps peace in the region. It is the strongest peace force he can to be”.
